Maurice Krattenmacher is returning to FC Bayern from SSV Ulm early. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has been on loan at the second-division club this season and will be part of the German champions' squad again from 1 June 2025. Krattenmacher will also travel with the team to the Club World Cup (14 June-13 July) in the USA.
Christoph Freund, FC Bayern sporting director: “Maurice Krattenmacher has developed very well at SSV Ulm, as we hoped. Now we’re recalling him to bring him a bit closer to our first team at the Club World Cup. He comes from the Munich vicinity and grew up here – our fans want players like that. The idea is that Maurice will gain experience in our first team over an extended period for the first time in the USA, and then we’ll discuss his next steps with him.”
The Bad Aibling-born German youth international joined FC Bayern last summer from SpVgg Unterhaching and was loaned to Ulm in Bundesliga 2 for one season to gain match practice. He made 33 appearances in all competitions, 24 of them from the start, registering three goals and eight assists. He’s represented the German U20 side six times to date.
Krattenmacher’s new team-mate Harry Kane was named Bundesliga Player of the Season:
