Regional FC Bayern fan club meetings in first half of 2025

FC Bayern banners adorned the walls, while white and blue Bavarian flags and heart-shaped pretzels hung from the ceilings. Four regions, over 100 fan clubs, countless moving encounters: during its regional fan club visits in the first half of 2025, FC Bayern was once again able to experience first hand what FCB passion is all about – genuine community, heart and a unifying ‘Mia san mia’ feeling.

“So far in 2025, we have been on the road with our successful dialogue format of regional fan club meetings in Central Franconia, Lower Bavaria, Upper Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt, and have personally exchanged ideas with around 200 fan club chairpersons on site in the regions,” said Markus Meindl, director of fans, drawing a positive conclusion. “Thank you to everyone who made these fan club meetings something very special. We're looking forward to everything that's to come – together.” Whether in the festively decorated red and white boathouse in Merseburg or during the discussions in Lower Bavaria, it was noticeable everywhere how much the fans identify with FC Bayern. The rooms weren’t just decorated, they were filled with pride and passion.

There was a particular dynamic in the Upper Palatinate region, with a real spirit of optimism here. The local fan clubs want to break new ground together – always with the aim of further strengthening and actively shaping their community. FC Bayern is proud that 101 fan clubs representing a total of 38,382 members were reached personally during these four meetings.

Even more important, however, was what happened between the lines: the open exchange, the joint reflection, the common approach. The discussions ranged from current developments, such as the modern advancement of digital tickets, to long-term issues relating to the infrastructure of the Allianz Arena, events and the future of Bavarian fan life.

One topic was particularly close to everyone's heart: the next generation. With the introduction of youth representatives in the fan clubs, FC Bayern sent out a clear signal to inspire even more young people, allow them to participate and show them how valuable this red and white community is. Other topics were also discussed, from the Dream Match and traditional Christmas visits to online fan club administration, which is constantly being developed further thanks to feedback from our fan clubs. One thing was noticeable at all meetings: dialogue is not a duty, but a gift. With this momentum, FC Bayern is looking forward to the next stops with great anticipation. In June, a very special fan club meeting is scheduled in North Carolina (USA) – an emotional bridge-building event across the Atlantic. And in September, the journey continues to Upper Franconia, where the red and white passion is just as much at home as it is in the United States these days.
