Before FC Bayern make their way to the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup, several of the German champions’ players have a mini Euro to play. The UEFA Nations League final four takes place in Munich and Stuttgart this year – find out which Bayern players are involved.
Home match for six Bayern players in semi-final

The German national team will be hoping to profit from the home advantage of the Bayern contingent in the semi-finals. In Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané, Leon Goretzka, Aleksandar Pavlović and returning Serge Gnabry, head coach Julian Nagelsmann has named no fewer than five players from the German record champions in his squad, who meet Portugal at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday 4 June (21:00 CEST). The tournament comes too soon for Jamal Musiala, who is still working his way back to fitness following the muscle strain he sustained at the start of April. Hoffenheim’s Tom Bischof, who will be an FC Bayern player from next season, is alsoin the squad.
If the DFB team can pick up from their performances in the quarter-finals, the Munich crowd can look forward to plenty of entertainment. After winning 2-1 in Italy in the first leg, Kimmich and Co edged out the Azzurri with a 3-3 draw in Dortmund – including some special Bayern moments (find out more here).

On the opposing side, João Palhinha will also be in familiar surroundings. The midfielder is in the Portugal squad for the finals tournament and will come up against his German colleagues from FC Bayern in the first game. The Portuguese beat Denmark 5-3 on aggregate after extra time in the quarter-finals.
Olise in second semi against Spain

Around 200 kilometres away in Stuttgart, Michael Olise will be in action for France against Spain on 5 June (21:00 CEST). Les Bleus set up a rematch of the Euro 2024 semi-final after a dramatic clash with Croatia in the quarters, in which France needed penalties to book their ticket for the final four.
Final on 8 June at Allianz Arena
The two winners of the semi-finals will then play each other in the final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on Sunday 8 June at 21:00 CEST. The third-place match will be staged in Stuttgart earlier that day (15:00 CEST).
Other internationals in June
In addition to the UEFA Nations League, other fixtures are taking place during the international break in early June – including in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. Most of the squads have not yet been announced for these, though. As usual, you can find out who will be on duty when and where on fcbayern.com in due course.
