Over 250,000 people took to the streets in the summer of 2024 to send a signal for diversity in the heart of Munich: This year, FC Bayern will once again support its fan club ‘QUEERPASS Bayern’ as part of its ‘Red against Racism’ initiative during Christopher Street Day (CSD), which will take place in the city centre on Saturday, 28 June, from 12:00 CEST. Moreover, the German champions will once again light up their Allianz Arena in the colours of the rainbow in the evening to raise awareness of diversity.

The ‘QUEERPASS’ members are looking forward to everyone joining them at the CSD - regardless of their sexual orientation. The meeting point is at 12 o'clock at the float with the starting number 136/137 in Block G at Mariahilfplatz. Mascots Berni, Mia and Ben have joined ‘QUEERPASS’ at CSD for years and are popular selfie subjects. Director of FC Bayern Women Bianca Rech and England's European champion Georgia Stanway also mingled with the fan club members at past parades. Munich's Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter regularly drops by at the start, and this year the basketball section will also be strongly represented and will be joined by a fan delegation from FC St. Pauli - because on issues such as diversity, everyone is united in the cause and stands together on the same values. This year's motto will be displayed on the shirts created by ‘QUEERPASS’: ‘Diversity wins - on and off the pitch: Egalité, Diversité, Queerité’.
