Discussion on the global development of football: On Saturday evening, one day after FC Bayern's rousing 2-1 win over Boca Juniors in front of 63,587 spectators at the sold-out Hard Rock Stadium, the Audi Football Night took place in Miami. In a panel discussion, Michael Diederich, FC Bayern executive vice chairman, Daniel Weissland, president of Audi America, Xavier Asensi, president of Inter Miami CF, and Don Garber, commissioner and CEO of Major League Soccer (MLS), spoke about the impact of football, community building and innovation in sport.

"It was a hugely interesting and inspiring evening. We heard many different aspects about the development of football. The desire in America to drive football forward and the enthusiasm we are experiencing at the Club World Cup in this country is breathtaking. We as FC Bayern want to continue to participate in this positive development," said Michael Diederich after the event in South Beach.
The Club World Cup in the USA offers football the opportunity to further advance its global significance and become firmly anchored in US culture. The panellists agreed that the future of football in America is bright.
