
Michael Diederich, FC Bayern chief financial officer, will step down from the FC Bayern München AG board of directors on 30 September 2025. Diederich, 59, has been a board member since 1 April 2023, and prior to that a member of the FC Bayern supervisory board since 2018. The deputy CEO’s contract was due to run until 30 June 2026.

We wish Michael all the very best for his future and thank him very much for his great service and the very successful time we have had together at FC Bayern. He has inititiated many topics and projects, brought a lot of new ideas and established important partnerships for the successful future of FC Bayern.”
Michael Diederich: “After two very intensive and successful years on the FC Bayern München AG board, I have decided to take on a new professional challenge. I thank the supervisory board for their trust and my colleagues Jan-Christian Dreesen and Max Eberl for the friendly working relationship. Even after the end of my activity, FC Bayern will always be the club of my heart.”
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and board member for sport Max Eberl will carry out the board’s duties until further notice. FC Bayern will announce a successor to Michael Diederich and the future division of tasks on the board in due course.
