Lennart Karl was one of the standout performers of pre-season and now has an award to go with it after FC Bayern fans voted his curling effort against Tottenham Hotspur in the Telekom Cup as the club’s Goal of the Month for August 2025. The teenage midfielder bent in the third of Bayern’s 4-0 win at the Allianz Arena with his left foot after receiving the ball from David Santos Daiber right of centre.
Karl beats Schüller and Díaz
Karl claimed the first the monthly award of the season with 41.8 percent of votes from fans, beating out Lea Schüller’s Supercup volley against Wolfsburg (29.1 percent) and also Luis Díaz debut Bundesliga goal against RB Leipzig (17.7 percent).
