From beer mug bottles and Schafkopf card sets to customised beer mat coasters, FC Bayern was represented at the Made in Minga fair at Nockherberg with an information stand run by its members' department and activities promoting its Red Against Racism initiative. Herbert Hainer also took a tour of the fair to talk to Munich residents. “As FC Bayern, we want to be an active part of our home city,” said the president. “At this fair, young Munich-based companies show how innovative they are. And as a club, we can reach many people outside of sport here.”

The host of the fair, Christian Schottenhamel, was delighted with Bayern's presence: “Made in Minga stands for Munich, for Bavaria – that fits in well with FC Bayern. I think it's important that the club is represented here with Red Against Racism. Racism should actually disappear into insignificance in our society, but unfortunately that is not the case, so it's a great sign that FC Bayern, with all its charisma, is saying yes to diversity and no to discrimination.” Konstantin Graf von Keyserlingk, organiser of Made in Minga, summed up the event with satisfaction: “FC Bayern are the local hero, so it was great that the club was part of the fair, especially as the Red Against Racism message is important for everyone, even outside of sport. Munich is a cosmopolitan city, and we all want to help ensure that our society remains free and liberal in the future.”

On both days of the event, visitors to the FC Bayern information stand were able to take part in a competition relating to the club's current membership of over 410,000, as well as expand their knowledge of diversity with an anti-discrimination quiz developed specifically by the Red Against Racism initiative.
