FC Bayern will play a friendly match against Red Bull Salzburg on 6 January 2026 to prepare for the resumption of the 2025/26 season. Kick-off at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg is at 15:00 CET. The game will be broadcast exclusively live in Germany on FC Bayern TV PLUS. Information on how to watch in other countries will follow shortly.

Bayern played against the Austrian side in a friendly exactly a year ago on 6 January 2025 as well, winning 6-0 thanks to goals from Michael Olise (x2), Joshua Kimmich, Thomas Müller, Eric Dier and Jonathan Asp Jensen.
