On 27 February 2024, FC Bayern began its 125th year as a club. Now, the German record champions are publishing their annual Sustainability Report for the second year in a row. Under the motto of the sustainability strategy “Mitnand,” Bavarian for “together,” it comprehensively reflects on the 2023/2024 season and looks ahead to the future. The guiding principle: “Mitnand” into the next 125 years! The report covers the entire club: FC Bayern München AG, FC Bayern München eV, Allianz Arena GmbH and FC Bayern Basketball.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, CEO of FC Bayern: “125 years of successful club history bring an obligation and responsibility to future generations. FC Bayern remains true to its guiding principle ‘Mitnand’ and will continue to work together with its partners, members and fans for a sustainable future. Sporting success and sustainable action for the environment and society go hand in hand for us.”
The report is now available as a PDF download in German and English on the sustainability portal of the FCB website, for the first time optimised for mobile devices with intuitive navigation. In the spirit of diversity and inclusion, the aim is to reach as many fans as possible, so there is once again an additional inclusive version of the report this year.

The report provides insights into projects and progress successfully implemented across the four areas of action: diversity and inclusion, health and safety, climate and environment as well as materials and supply chains.
In the social area, it addresses, among other things, the further development of the initiatives “OBACHT” and “Red against Racism.” In addition, the report contains many detailed features, such as: the visit of the women’s first team to the Aichach correctional facility (JVA Aichach), the men’s first team’s visit to the circus and the engagement of our basketball team for the people of our home city, Munich.
Climate and environmental protection are also central topics. Of particular note in this context is the Climate Pact 2040. FC Bayern München and Allianz Arena GmbH are founding members and thus commit to complying with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
