Two Bayern fan clubs from China got to witness history as they visited Munich to see the thrilling 4-3 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League and the club’s Bundesliga title triumph by beating VfB Stuttgart 4-2. A total of 30 fans from Nanjing and Shenzhen were in attendance, and the club had put together an exclusive programme for them, including a special meet-and-greet with club legend and 1990 World Cup winner Raimond Aumann.

Markus Meindl, director of fan relations: “Since the introduction of the fan club visits, more and more international fan clubs have been attending our home matches at the Allianz Arena. We are an international club with Bavarian roots, and we were delighted to welcome the official fan clubs from Nanjing and Shenzhen to Munich as part of the 2026 China Fan Trip. As part of the trip, we raised a glass of Paulaner at Herrschaftszeiten during a traditional Bavarian evening.” Bayern will travel to Asia in early August as part of this year’s Audi Summer Tour, where fixtures will include a game against Aston Villa at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on 7 August. Meindl added: “We are already looking forward to the support of our numerous Chinese Bayern fans and fan clubs.”

With their red and white banners bearing Chinese characters, the fans from the Far East were easy to spot at the Allianz Arena and also outside the town hall balcony at Marienplatz, where they’ve already been able to carry out an unofficial site inspection for the traditional title celebrations. The next visit from Asia is already scheduled for the home match against Heidenheim with the Chengdu fan club. The Dallas-Fort Worth fan club from Texas, USA, will also join them for a dinner together – the German champions bring together fans from all over the world.
