How FC Bayern will celebrate the title this weekend
Munich will be awash in red and white this weekend as FC Bayern celebrates their 35th German championship on Saturday at the Allianz Arena and on Sunday in the heart of the city. And you, our fans, can be there! On Saturday, after the final home game against 1. FC Köln, our team will be presented with the Meisterschale – a momentous and incredibly proud occasion that is always something truly special.
Allianz Arena as party zone
Straight afterwards, the Allianz Arena will transform into a party zone: wheat beer showers on the pitch, a DJ pumping up the crowd, and beaming, happy faces everywhere. We're not just celebrating the championship with you, but our unity, our passion, an extraordinary season and our proud club history. Even before kick-off, the heroes of 2001 will return; 25 years after their Champions League triumph, we honour Effenberg, Elber, Linke and Co. We’ll also bid farewell to some current players and recognise those who have achieved extraordinary things this season. All this, of course, accompanied by traditional Bavarian brass band music. And when the Allianz Arena glows red in the evening and the word "Champions" appears on it, everyone will know: this is where the heart of the German football champions beats!
Sea of flags in the city
On Sunday, the Bayern family will move on to the heart of the city. At noon on Marienplatz, mascot Berni will dance to music by DJ Fleischmann, while fans everywhere celebrate amidst a sea of red and white flags. When the team are welcomed by Mayor Dominik Krause at the Town Hall, the excitement will build outside. Around 13:30 CEST, the main event will begin: the players will step onto the balcony, trophy in hand, and celebrate their 35th league title with you. Musical highlights will include performances by the brass band Brasseroni and OIMARA.
And best of all: you can be there! Whether in the Arena, on Marienplatz or following the live stream on fcbayern.com, the FC Bayern app and our social media channels – we bring you the title celebrations in German, English and Spanish with exclusive insights and real emotions.
Women at Town Hall on Monday
Because our women’s team are still in Bundesliga action in Hamburg on Sunday, their big honour will follow on Monday, when Klara Bühl, Pernille Harder and Co will appear on the Town Hall balcony from around 15:30 CEST.
