New vehicle for FC Bayern: MAN team bus with exclusive configuration

As of this season, FC Bayern will be travelling in a new, specially designed MAN team bus, featuring the club colours and a large badge and equipped with an exclusive configuration. Together with long-standing partner MAN Truck & Bus, the German champions have conceived a Man’s Lion’s Coach L in a distinctive and eye-catching FC Bayern design – a visible symbol of professionalism, innovation, unity and identity when travelling around Germany and Europe.

Modern comfort and entertainment solutions as well as several innovative assistance tools provide the optimum conditions for the team and staff – safe, comfortable and high-performance. The interior was designed by the experts at the MAN Bus Modification Center exclusively for the needs of the team. At the rear, for example, a fully fitted kitchen with fridges, sink, coffee machine as well as plenty of space for food preparation and storage caters for the team’s physical wellbeing. Four height-adjustable Vis-á-vis tables provide space for discussions between coaches and players before and after matches, while premium Wi-Fi, three HD monitors, a high-performance sound system and starry sky lighting ensure entertainment and relaxation on longer journeys.

A particular focus of the partnership with MAN, which has been going since 2008, is on the aim of reducing transport-related greenhouse gas emissions. To that end, the FC Bayern vehicle fleet is set to be supplemented by a fully electric MAN Lion’s Coach E this season. With this, FC Bayern and MAN are demonstrating their commitment to forward-thinking, responsible travel in elite sport, which is geared towards choosing mobility solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventionally powered vehicles.
