Two days on from their 7-0 win over Union Berlin, Bayern’s team, coaches and senior figures got to enjoy one of their favourite events of the year with their annual visit to Oktoberfest on Sunday. Dressed in their Bavarian finest and joined by their families, everyone gathered at the Theresienwiese for a relaxed get-together.

There were smiles all round and rightly so after an almost perfect start to the season with six wins and a draw from seven games. Things have been particularly impressive at home with big victories over VfB Stuttgart (5-1), Bodø/Glimt (5-0) and now also Union.
“We’re obviously happy with this wonderful win. Now the fans can go to Oktoberfest. It’s a good gift for them,” said Vincent Kompany after Friday’s emphatic result.
Arranged by partner Paulaner, Harry Kane and his teammates got to enjoy several hours in their marquee. It was a particularly nice occasion for new signing Nathaniel Brown as he got the chance to get to know his teammates and their families better.
Many of Bayern’s players will now go and join up with their national teams for the extended international break. They don’t play for their club again until the visit to Augsburg on Saturday, 10 October.
