FC Bayern are sending Arijon Ibrahimović out on loan to FC Augsburg until the end of the season. The 20-year-old attacking player spent last season on loan at 1. FC Heidenheim
FC Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund: “We sat down with Arijon and agreed that it would be best for his development if we loaned him out for another season. He’s a young player with terrific potential and, at this stage, he needs to be playing regularly. He will do so at FC Augsburg, and we will continue to monitor him closely on this journey.”
Ibrahimović moved from 1. FC Nürnberg to the Bayern’s youth setup at the age of 12 and made his professional debut as a 17-year-old against VfL Bochum In February 2023. Following loan spells with Italian top-flight sides Frosinone Calcio and Lazio, Ibrahimović made 34 competitive appearances for Heidenheim last season (two goals, five assists). He has to date made two international appearances for the German Under-21 national team.
