Good news for fans of FC Bayern Women: starting this season, all of FCB’s matches in the UEFA Women’s Champions League will be shown live on DAZN and YouTube. The internet streaming service has secured the broadcast rights for the biggest European club competition in women’s football until 2025. In cooperation with YouTube, DAZN will be showing all UWCL games live and for free on the video platform.

New Champions League format

The UWCL will be played in a new format from the forthcoming season. Instead of starting with knockout rounds straight away, as has been the case up until now, 16 teams will contest a group stage, with four groups of four teams playing each other home and away. The top two from each group go through to the quarter-finals and continue to battle it out over two legs for a place in the final. The winners will be determined in one match.

Bayern Women looking to challenge again

FC Bayern Women have qualified automatically for the new UWCL season as German champions. Last season, head coach Jens Scheuer’s side reached the semi-finals for the second time in the club’s history, losing narrowly to English champions Chelsea. The Munich girls are aiming to go far again this time – and you can watch them live on DAZN.
