Here we go again! After a break of roughly two weeks, FC Bayern have started their mid-season training for 2024. The team, including the likes of Glódís Viggósdóttir, Lea Schüller and Co. kicked off with performance and medical tests before returning to the training pitch. fcbayern.com provides an overview of the preparations for head coach Alexander Straus’ team in the coming weeks.
Highly motivated
On Friday, the reigning German champions underwent the obligatory performance diagnostics at the FC Bayern Campus. Under the guidance of fitness trainer Hamid Masoum Beygi, the team were challenged in small groups at various stations designed to test reactions, endurance, jumping power and speed. The next day, the players finally got back on the ball. After the warm-up programme, they were taken through various routines and completed passing drills. Sarah Zadrazil and her team are looking forward to the upcoming preparations. “We’re all happy that things are starting up again now. The break was good for us, we’re fully rested and recuperated. We are all highly motivated and looking forward to putting in the work,” the Austrian said.
