Bianca Rech (head of FC Bayern Women): “It’s an incredible feeling! We’ve worked hard for this title. It was a season with highs and lows, but today just feels good, wrapping up the title with two games to spare. It’s the reward for all of everybody’s work.”
Alexander Straus: “I’m just very happy. We’ve worked hard all season for this. We weren’t performing well around Christmas and came in for criticism, but the way we came back in the new year makes me very proud. For me personally, it’s my fourth straight title and second with Bayern. I’m really proud of that. In my eyes, defending your title is an even greater achievement, but we did it with a fantastic team.”
Linda Dallmann: “The mood is very good. It’s nice that so many fans came and celebrated with us. At the end of the day, we deserved to win, even though the second half wasn’t as good. But we played really good football in the first half, which we’ve shown throughout the season. That’s why we deservedly won the title today.”
Georgia Stanway: “It feels good. Winning the title is tough, but defending it is even tougher. It’s an amazing achievement by the whole team. We’ve won the title every year I’ve been here, and I hope we can keep that going.”
