Good news on Mala Grohs to end the year: the FC Bayern Women goalkeeper, who was diagnosed with a tumour in October, is on the road to recovery. The medical measures and interventions have gone successfully. In the best case, the 23-year-old will be able to train with the team again from January.
It was Grohs' personal wish to provide an update on her current condition before the winter break, particularly for the many people who have supported her since the diagnosis was announced. She last played for Bayern in the Champions League game against Vålereng in early November and has been out of action since then.
