
Eight top international teams will face off at the World Sevens Football (W7F) tournament in Estoril, Portugal, from 21 to 23 May. Now it's official: FC Bayern Women will take part - as will Ajax, Benfica and Manchester United! The tournament will be played in a 7 vs. 7 short match format, with the streaming service DAZN broadcasting all matches live and free of charge in Germany from the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota on the outskirts of Lisbon.
Tournament schedule
All eight participating teams will be in action from day one of the tournament (21 May). They'll be divided into two groups of four teams. In the group phase (Wednesday & Thursday), each team will play against all the other teams in their group. A total of 12 matches have been scheduled over these two days. Each match will last 30 minutes (2 x 15 minutes). On the final day (Friday, 23 May), the top two teams in each group will compete in the semi-finals for a place in the final. This will be followed by the third-place play-off and finally the grand final, including the award ceremony.

- Wednesday, 21 May: 1st group matchday (4 matches, 1 match per team)
- Thursday, 22 May: 2nd group matchday (8 matches, 2 matches per team)
- Friday, 23 May: Semi-finals, 3rd place play-off, final (15:00 CEST)
