Five players leaving FC Bayern Women

Ahead of the final Bundesliga match of the 2024/25 season against SGS Essen (Sunday 11 May, 14:00 CEST), FC Bayern Women will say goodbye to five players who are leaving the club at the end of the season: Magou Doucouré, Tainara, Michelle Ulbrich, Weronika Zawistowska and Linda Sembrant. FC Bayern says Danke and Servus!

Magou Doucouré will leave Bayern after one season. The Paris-born defender moved to the Bavarian state capital last summer from OSC Lille and made one first-team appearance for Bayern as well as playing several games for the reserve team.

Thank you, Magou, and all the best going forward!

All the best, Tainara!

Tainara has been a reliable part of the defence since summer 2022 and produced strong performances in many matches. The Brazilian has registered 30 appearances in all appearances and two goals in her time with us. She also won the Bundesliga title in her first season, but has sadly been unavailable since early 2024 due to illness.

Dear Tainara, many thanks for your service and all the best!

Danke and best wishes, Michelle!

FC Bayern Women welcomed Michelle Ulbrich as a new signing from Werder Bremen in January of this year. The centre-back now leaves Munich as a double winner. Her 89th-minute winner in the away match at Jena on the penultimate matchday, which secured a 12th consecutive Bundesliga victory, will always be remembered.

Thank you for your service to FC Bayern, Mitch, and all the best for the future!

Servus and Danke, Weronika!

Weronika Zawistowska is departing FC Bayern Women after two years in the red and white shirt. The forward joined from Polish record champions KKS Czarni Sosnowiec ahead of the 2021/22 season and was then loaned to 1. FC Köln for two seasons. In the last two years, the Polish international made a total of 12 competitive appearances for the German champions, scoring once. She won two league titles, one DFB Cup as well as one Supercup.

Thanks for your efforts over the last few years, Wero! We wish you the very best on your onward footballing journey!

All the best for the future, Linda!

Defender Linda Sembrant will also no longer play for FC Bayern Women next season. After joining from Juventus in January 2024, the 37-year-old quickly established herself in the team and has been a successful addition to our defence over the last one and a half years. The Swedish international, who finished third at the 2011 World Cup, scored three goals in 29 games for FCB and won two Bundesliga titles, one DFB Cup and one Supercup.

Thanks for a great time in Munich and all the best for the future, Linda!
