A Rückrunde without dropping a point, a solid defence and consistent performers - the FC Bayern Women delivered impressive stats again last season. fcbayern.com takes a look back at the past campaign and provides you with the most important and interesting facts.
Back-to-back-to-back champions & first double in the club's history
FC Bayern Women won the Bundesliga for the seventh time in the club's history (1976, 2015, 2016, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025) and for the third time in a row - a first for the Munich ladies. Head coach Alexander Straus' side also completed the double of German championship and DFB Cup for the first time in the club's history.
Defence was the trump card

Behind this success story, as in the previous season, is an almost insurmountable defence. Just 13 goals conceded and 13 clean sheets speak for themselves: the defence was the key to success! Whereas in the first half of the season they conceded 0.9 goals per game, FCB Women were able to build on a more solid back line in the Rückrunde and conceded just 0.27 goals.
Possession a real weapon
No other team in the women's Bundesliga controlled the game as confidently as the Munich side. With 65 per cent possession, a pass completion rate of 86 per cent and 13,240 passes completed, the Reds set the standard in terms of build-up play. Head coach Alexander Straus' team also recorded the most moves with at least ten consecutive passes: 383.
Unbeaten in the Rückrunde

A run straight out of a storybook: In the second half of the season, the team left no doubt as to who were the strongest side in the league. A flawless run of 11 wins in 11 games and a goal difference of 25:3 underlined their dominance, meaning FCB Women enjoyed a perfect Rückrunde for the second time in a row after 2023/24.
Comeback queens
Going behind was no problem for them - quite the opposite. No other team turned round as many games as the Munich side. The comeback qualities secured the Reds led by captain Glódís Viggósdóttir 13 points in the title race. FCB Women conceded just two points after falling behind - also a league record.
Season's most consistent performers

Whether in defence, midfield or up front - Carolin Simon, Lea Schüller, Klara Bühl and Pernille Harder were the mainstays of the team and didn't miss a single one of the 22 matchdays.
Aerial queens
Goals from headers - FCB Women scored more than any other team last season: the Munich side netted 15 times with their heads - bettered by none! Harder alone bagged six goals, making her the most lethal player in the league with her head.
Variable in attack

With 14 goals, Harder was already FCB's most dangerous striker. However, Klara Bühl also made a significant contribution to her team's attacking power: With 14 assists and a total of 21 goal contributions, the forward ended the season in second place on the women's Bundesliga scorers' list and proved once again that she can be depended on. The Munich side netted a total of 56 goals from 15 different scorers - only Wolfsburg could boast one more scorer.
Our rock in goal
Ena Mahmutovic surpassed herself last season. The 21-year-old saved 88 per cent of shots on her goal, the most of any keeper in the league. Mala Grohs was also impressive, keeping five clean sheets in ten league games.
