FC Bayern Women’s Ana María Guzmán has joined Brazilian side Palmeiras on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old Colombian spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan at Utah Royals FC in the USA, but the arrangement, which was due to last until the end of this year, has now been cut short. Guzmán played five times for the National Women’s Soccer League club.
The defender joined Bayern in 2023 but was sidelined for a long period due to a knee injury she sustained on international duty with Colombia. After returning to action at the end of September 2024, the Mistrató native played eight games for the Munich Frauen’s first and second teams.
