Lohmann bids farewell from the club, the team and the fans with words of thanks: “The last nine years have a very special significance in my life, I’m incredibly grateful to FC Bayern. I’ve learned an incredible lot in this time, not only in terms of sports but also as a person, I’ve had many wonderful moments – from my Bundesliga debut in 2017 to the title in 2021 and the double this year. I’d like to thank everyone who has accompanied me on this path – the club, the team and the great fans. Even though I wasn’t able to say goodbye on the pitch, I hope we’ll see again in the near future and that I can say Servus in person. FC Bayern will always have a firm place in my heart.”

FC Bayern Women’s sporting director Bianca Rech thanks Lohmann on behalf of the whole club: “We’d like to thank Sydney for everything she has done for FC Bayern.
