10,000 tickets sold for Arsenal game at the Allianz Arena!

With two weeks to go until FC Bayern Women host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena, 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the UEFA Women’s Champions League game. That will be a record for a crowd in the competition this season with 18 fixtures already played over the first two matchdays. Giulia Gwinn, Klara Bühl and the rest of the team hope the crowd will grow even further with a fortnight still to go until the game on 12 November. You can get your tickets here!

Bühl: “Allianz Arena a special draw”

For Bühl, who scored in both of Germany’s games against France during the recent international break, excitement is already building ahead of the big night: “It’s really great that so many fans are again coming to watch us at the Allianz Arena. We’re delighted about every single person who comes. It also shows that our opening game in the Bundesliga in September was enjoyed by lots of people. Our last home encounter against Arsenal last season was also really exciting and ultimately a victory. We want to repeat that again but also know that Arsenal represent a big challenge as Champions League holders. But we want to face up to that and are happy we get to play them at home. Obviously there are other games to come before then, but there’s already a special draw in knowing that we get to play at the Allianz Arena again in two weeks. We’re excited for the game and want to get an important win with our fans behind us.”
