Numerous FC Bayern Women players were in action for their national teams in the first matches of this international break. Some of them took to the pitch in exciting UEFA Women's Nations League clashes, while others were involved in friendlies. fcbayern.com gives you a comprehensive overview from an FCB perspective.
Thanks to Bühl: Germany Women reaching for the final
The Germany Women, led by Munich players Giulia Gwinn, Franziska Kett, Klara Bühl, Lea Schüller, Alara Şehitler and Linda Dallmann, laid the foundations for a place in the Nations League final in their semi-final first leg against France. The 37,191 fans in the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf saw a fast-paced and evenly-matched encounter. With 79 minutes on the clock, Klara Bühl had a go from around 18 metres out and hit the back of the net to score what was ultimately a deserved winner.
The second leg of the Nations League semi-final will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at 21.10 CET in Caen. Due to illness, Linda Dallmann will not be travelling to France and already left the DFB quarters on Monday.

Harder & Viggósdóttir score
Klara Bühl wasn't the only player from the reigning double winners to get on the scoresheet: Pernille Harder bagged a brace in Denmark's 6-1 win over Finland in the first leg of the Nations League play-offs and Glódís Viggósdóttir also netted for Iceland in their 2-0 victory over Northern Ireland. This put both Denmark and Iceland in a good position in the battle to stay in League A of the Nations League.
Reigning European champions England, featuring Georgia Stanway, were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Brazil after conceding early goals, with the FC Bayern midfielder pulling one back from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute.
