Stanway, Kett, Gilles and Co: The Bayern players on international duty

Time again for international action, when the national teams meet for the last time this calendar year. On fcbayern.com you can find out which FC Bayern players will be representing their countries and also get an overview of the upcoming matches.

DFB call up six Munich women for Nations League final

Germany Women will be battling for their first silverware since the 2016 Olympic Games in this international break. Once again, several Bayern players have been nominated for the two-legged UEFA Womens Nations League final against reigning world champions Spain: Giulia Gwinn, Franziska Kett, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann , Alara Şehitler and Ena Mahmutovic are all included in the the squad for this year's final round of internationals. Dallmann was called up as a replacement for Lea Schüller, who is unavailable due to family reasons. Mala Grohs, meanwhile, is on standby. The latter will initially help out the Germany U23s in the games against Portugal and France.

The first leg of the final against Spain takes place in Kaiserslautern on 28 November. The second leg will take place four days later in Madrid on 2 December.

International FCB head-to-head

Vanessa Gilles will play a friendly with the Canadian national team against her FCB teammate Momoko Tanikawa, who has once again been called up to the Japan squad. There's also good news from Austria: Barbara Dunst is celebrating her comeback in the national team after tearing her cruciate ligament. Katharina Naschenweng and Maria Plattner from the FCB Women's second team have also been called up for the matches against Finland and Ukraine. European champions England, featuring Georgia Stanway, will take on China and Ghana. Arianna Caruso will play two matches with Italy against the USA, while Natalia Padilla Bidas will face Slovenia with Poland.

Stine Ballisager will face Norway with the Danish national team. Pernille Harder was also called up for the friendly, but had to withdraw due to an older foot injury, more precisely a broken toe. Jovana Damnjanović will face the Czech Republic in two matches with the Serbian national team. Magdalena Eriksson has announced her retirement from the Swedish national team so will spend the international break in Munich.
