Barcala: ‘Both teams have the quality to test & punish you’
“We respect every opponent, especially at this stage of the Champions League,” said head coach José Barcala. “Both teams, Atlético Madrid and Manchester United, have the quality to test and punish you. However, we trust in our strengths and our mentality. Whoever comes through in the end will face an FC Bayern team that are ready to compete. There are no easy opponents in a quarter-final. We’ll watch the play-off games closely but in the end our focus remains on ourselves, our identity, our set pieces and the details we can influence ourselves.”
The play-off ties:
Atlético Madrid vs. Machester United
Paris FC vs. Real Madrid
OH Leuven vs. Arsenal
