FCB Women on international duty: These players will represent their countries

From Australia to North Africa and Europe to the USA: For the first time this year, several players from FC Bayern Women will be joining up with their national teams for World Cup qualifiers and various tournaments. fcbayern.com has put together a comprehensive overview of the forthcoming internatonal break which shows you which clashes involving FCB players you can look forward to.

Germany call-ups for five FCB Women

The next international break signals the start of Germany's campaign to qualify for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. Once again, national coach Christian Wück will will be relying on the services of no less than five FC Bayern Women players: Giulia Gwinn, Franziska Kett, Klara Bühl, Linda Dallmann and Ena Mahmutovic have been called up to the squad for the first two matches in Group 4 of League A of the Women's European Qualifiers. The first match is against Slovenia on 3 March (17:45 CET) at the Rudolf Harbig Stadium in Dresden. The DFB women will then head north to play their group match against Norway at 18:00 CET on 7 March.

Pernille Harder and Stine Ballisager will play two matches against FCB teammates in the World Cup qualifiers with Denmark: First up are Serbia with Jovana Damnjanović, then the Danes will host Italy with Arianna Caruso. Glódís Viggósdóttir will also come up against two familiar faces with Iceland: against Spain, the captain will face new signing Edna Imade, before taking on England with Georgia Stanway in the second game. The reigning European champion has a match against Ukraine beforehand - the same goes for Imade, who has been handed her second successive call-up to the world champions' squad.

The Austrian contingent of Barbara Dunst, Katharina Naschenweng and Maria Plattner will take on Slovenia and Norway. Natalia Padilla Bidas completes the line-up of FCB players competing with their nations for European World Cup qualification. The Poland striker will represent her country against the Netherlands and France.

Vanessa Gilles (Canada), Bernadette Amani (Côte d’Ivoire) and Momoko Tanikawa (Japan), on the other hand, will be taking part in different tournaments with their respective nations. While Gilles will head to the USA to take part in the prestigious SheBelieves Cup, Amani and Tanikawa will compete for the title in their continental championships: the Women's Africa Cup of Nations and the Women's Asia Cup, which is regarded as the oldest continental championship in women's football.
