FC Bayern Women’s Alara Şehitler is one of the 10 finalists shortlisted for the 2026 Golden Girl award by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, which recognises the outstanding achievements of Europe’s best under-21 female players. Everyone at FC Bayern would like to congratulate Alara on being shortlisted and is keeping their fingers crossed for her in November’s final announcement.

An award with a proud tradition
The Golden Girl award has been presented by Tuttosport to the best young female player in Europe since 2022. Last year, the award went to England international Michelle Agyemang.
