The Munich girls are still unbeaten in the Bundesliga in 2023, and have not dropped a single point at the Campus over the whole season. The aim is to maintain that excellent record against their Freiburg counterparts. Last time out in the league, Bayern claimed a 2-0 win at SV Meppen, with Lina Magull and Georgia Stanway the goalscorers.
The opponents
Freiburg travel to Munich hoping to end a miserable run of five consecutive defeats in the league. Theresa Merk's team are currently sixth in the table, but with no chance of a European place. The Black Forest club were successful in the DFB Cup, though: a late 1-0 win over promoted Bundesliga 2 side RB Leipzig earned them a place in the cup final.

They've not been able to show that as much in recent weeks, but they still have the quality to give us a hard game and players who can score goals against every team. They're no easy opponents."
