Last time out in the UEFA Women's Champions League, FCB Women won 1-0 at Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a Magdalena Eriksson goal. With four points from two matches, the Munich girls are level with AS Roma at the top of Group C.
In the Bundesliga, the champions claimed a convincing 3-0 win at home to Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Monday evening. The fifth successive victory extended FCB's unbeaten run in the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga to 26 matches and maintained their lead at the top of the table with nine matches now played.

The opponents: Ajax
Ajax have registered one win and one defeat in the current UWCL campaign. The Amsterdam club began with 2-0 win against PSG but lost 3-0 in Rome, leaving them third in the group with three points.
Third place is also where they sit in their domestic league, the Eredivisie vrouwen. With 20 points from 11 games, the Dutch champions are seven points behind leaders Twente. On the last matchday, Suzanne Bakker's side had to settle for a 3-3 draw against PSV Eindhoven after conceding two late goals.
The team news
Klara Bühl suffered a muscular injury in the match against Leverkusen and will be out for a number of weeks. She joins long-term absentees Pernille Harder (medial ligament injury), Carolin Simon (cruciate ligament rupture), Weronika Zawistowska (cruciate ligament rupture) and Cécilía Rán Rúnarsdóttir (dislocated kneecap) on the treatment table.
Lohmann: Ajax are good opponents
Alexander Straus: "Ajax have changed and improved considerably since our last meeting three years ago. It will be a completely different game. We're playing in a group with four teams who are all very competitive. We must always be 100 percent focused and prepared."
Sydney Lohmann: "We're in a group in which every team can progress. That's why there are also results which you might not always expect. Ajax are good opponents. They beat PSG, so it's going to remain exciting in the group."
