Three insightful friendlies have set FCB Women up for the Supercup: they beat RB Ōmiya Ardija 4-1 in Tokyo in the highlight of the Allianz Women’s Tour. They levelled the scores twice to secure a 2-2 draw against 1. FC Nürnberg. The dress rehearsal at future home ground Sportpark Unterhaching was a perfect success: they beat Paris FC 2-0 in front of 6,000 spectators. With strong team spirit, fresh impetus from new signings Sarah Mattner, Kassandra Potsi, Sophie Proost und Regina van Eijk and the momentum from last season, they want to defend the title and crown themselves sole record Supercup winners.

The opponents: VfL Wolfsburg
Stephan Lerch’s team too are confident after their previous friendlies, a 3-2 victory over SV Meppen, a 2-0 win against PSV Eindhoven and victories over RB Leipzig (3-1) and Werder Bremen (3-1).
Bayern and Wolfsburg faced off multiple times last season. Munich won both Bundesliga duels (3-1 away, 4-1 at home) and won the DFB Cup final 4-0 to crown their outstanding season.
The Google Pixel Supercup has become the regular stage for the classic ficture in German women’s football: they won it 3-1 in Dresden in 2024 and 4-2 in Karlsruhe in 2025. The two strongest teams in Germany cross swords in the Supercup for the third time in a row on Saturday.

Anna Klink, Giulia Gwinn, Vanessa Gilles, Edna Imade, Franziska, Lena Oberdorf and Sarah Zadrazil will not be available.
