My idol | I don’t really have an idol. My brother was always my role model as a child. |
What I’d do if I hadn’t become a professional footballer | I am a trained nursery teacher and maybe I’d work in this area without football. |
Sports I like outside of football | I like going skiing with my family in winter. But in recent years I’ve taken a liking to ski touring. |
My favourite place to travel | San Diego is one of my favourite cities. But I’d also recommend my hometown of Salzburg because you can have a really good holiday there. |
My favourite food | Noodles in any shape or form. |
My favourite book and why I’d recommend it | The last book I read was Martin Hinteregger’s “Innensicht”. It was very interesting to discover his point of view and get an insight into the life of a male professional footballer. |
Best memory at Bayern | My entire first year with the girls. There were loads of wonderful moments and also some difficult periods, but generally the wins and moments we had together will stay with me for a long time. |
How I calm back down after getting annoyed in a game | Time at home with my family, in best case with my brother’s dog. |
Best football match | Liverpool against AC Milan in the 2005 Champions League final. I was still quite young at the time but remember the game well. |
My pre-match ritual | I always step onto the pitch with two steps of my left foot first. No idea why. |
