  • My idol and what I’d ask themI would love to talk to my mother about her ideas about life, dreams and love.
  • What I’d do if I hadn’t become a professional footballerIf I didn't play football, there would be three areas that interest me in particular: psychology, law and medicine. The reason is that these are all fields that can change lives.
  • Sports I like outside of footballI don't have a particular sport, I actually like all sports. So if someone asks me if I want to play volleyball, I'm in right away, even if I'm not an expert. Unfortunately, I very rarely get to do sports outside of football.
  • My favourite place to travelMy favourite place to travel is Manaus in Brazil. Mainly because of the amazing environment in the Amazon. There you find a great access and connection to nature.
  • My favourite foodI have three favourite foods: lasagne and feijoada (a traditional Brazilian bean dish) and I like to barbecue.
  • My favourite book and why I’d recommend itI recently read the book "A Cabana" by William Paul Young and I would recommend it because it gives you a different, wonderful approach to God. It helps you to better understand the ways of the Lord.
  • Strangest moment in footballWith the national team, a wild parrot once sat on a player's shoulder, which was extremely funny.
  • First memory of BayernI remember watching a few Bayern games on TV when I was a kid and I was immediately impressed by the way they played and especially the way they won.
  • How I calm back down after getting annoyed in a gameDefeats are always difficult for me, but I remember all the days of hard work with the team and a defeat doesn't diminish the value of that work in my eyes. So I just try to focus on the next game.
  • Best football matchBrazil against France at the 2006 World Cup.
  • My pre-match ritualI have three main rituals before a match. I always try to eat well, sleep well and, above all, think positively.
