Playmaker Bo McCalebb has extended his contract with FC Bayern Basketball for a further five weeks. The deal will run out at the end of January. The 29-year-old America had previously signed a one month deal to help the German Champions during their injury crisis, which is yet to be resolved. The Point Guard’s previous deal ran out after last weekend’s 88-70 victory in Braunschweig.
The renewed deal means that McCalebb is available for Boxing Day’s home fixture against the Artland Dragons (17:00 CET, Audi Dome). McCalebb has played five Bundesliga games so far and averages 13.0 points and 6.6 assists. Bayern are currently without Vasilije Micic and Robin Benzing, both of whom have long-term injuries.
