FC Bayern continued their fan club road show in 2018 with a stop in Houston, Texas as a special appreciation to the FC Bayern Texas fan club that meets at Bar Munich.
Together to watch FC Bayern take on Schalke on Saturday, the club received a special visit from Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, who – with a beer in one hand and an official government document on the other – proclaimed February 10 as Bayern Munich Day in the city during halftime.
The document lists FC Bayern Munich’s history, colors and accomplishments, and it commends the club for “dedicating their time to Houston through their passion and enthusiasm for sport.”
The proclamation sealed an all-around exciting day for the close to 300 fans who attended the event at Bar Munich who got to take photos with the club trophies and Berni and cheered on as the Bayern beat Schalke to extend their league in the Bundesliga table.
