FC Bayern stood up to the pressure and retained their lead in the table on Sunday. The German record champions were pleased after the 4-1 victory away to Fortuna Düsseldorf. Two Bavarians had even more reasons to celebrate as it was a milestone match for them.
David Alaba celebrated his 250th victory in 337 competitive appearances for FC Bayern. The Austrian made his debut for Bayern in February 2010. Apart from half a year on loan at TSG Hoffenheim, the left-back has been wearing FCB colours since then.
His coach too celebrated a landmark. Sunday's match was Niko Kovac' 50th Bundesliga victory as coach, 29 of them in the Eintracht Frankfurt dugout and 21 for FC Bayern.
