Reggie Redding, a key piece of the 2018 Championship team, is leaving FC Bayern München and signing a contract with the Turkish capital club and future EuroCup participant, Türk Telekom BK from Ankara. The 29-year-old pro from Philadelphia moved from Darussafaka, Istanbul to Munich in 2016 where he played in 70 BBL games and scored 9.4 points per game.
"Reggie was one of the keys to our success, he was completely committed to the cause," said Bavarian Sports Director Daniele Baiesi. "Our journey together ends now and the respect for him and our thanks for his contribution cannot be expressed enough. He has decided to start a new adventure and we wish him the very best for it."
His new club is returning next season to the top Turkish league and has been awarded a wildcard for the second highest European competition. Redding scored an average of 10.7 per game in the EuroCup last season.
