As the winners of the Bundesliga regular season, the Bayern basketball players are still waiting for their opponents in the playoff quarter finals, but easyCredit BBL has set the dates for the best-of-five series. The German champions will therefore start their "title defence mission" in the Audi Dome on Saturday, May 18th with the first duel against the eighth seed starting at 20:30. The third game of the quarter-finals - the Munich team's second home game - is scheduled for Sunday, May 26th at, 18:00. A possible fifth game would also take place at the Audi Dome on Thursday, May 30th.
The BBL regular season will end next weekend with two games nearly on a back-to-back. The Bavarians will first receive sixth play Ulm (10.5., 20:30) - who has also qualified for the playoffs - on Friday evening for the endurance test, and on Sunday (12.5., 18:00) the FCBB will compete with possible quarter-final opponent Bonn. In addition to Bonn the current seventh place team, the teams following them, Ludwigsburg, Würzburg, Frankfurt and Braunschweig, could also face the champions from Munich.
