Three games in six days: After a game-free weekend, which was of course well filled with three training sessions, the Bayern basketball players have to play three difficult road games within six days. Between Tuesday evening and Sunday afternoon, the German champions will try to defend their flawless record in the BBL (15-0) at the re-strengthened BG Göttingen and again in Bayreuth and finally in the EuroLeague at Khimki Moscow they will hope to maintain their chances of the first playoff participation for a German team.

In Göttingen the game starts at 20:30 CET; in Moscow on Friday (25.1.) tip-off is at 18:00 and in Bayreuth only 43 hours after the final buzzer in the Russian capital, on Sunday (27.1.) at 15:00. All games will be broadcast live by MagentaSport and FC Bayern TV, and Sport1 will  broadcast the game from the Oberfrankenhalle in Bayreuth.

In Göttingen the standings leader meets a team which has won its last two games and is on it's way to being clear of being sent out of the league as a bottom two team. Due to the success against Bremerhaven and the play-off candidate Gießen (104-85), they are now six points above the relegation teams and now the team of coach Johan Roijakkers can play free on Tuesday evening. On Monday, it was still uncertain whether Vladimir Lucic (sickness) and Maodo Lo (Knee), who was hurt last week, will be on board again.

"Göttingen is the start of a very, very difficult week for us," says FCBB coach Dejan Radonjic. "They have won the last two games and will play us with a lot of euphoria, at home where they are very strong anyway".

The linchpin for Göttingen, which already had Bamberg on the verge of defeat at the end of December (78-77), is playmaker Michael Stockton, who was impressive with 26 points and 14 assists.
