The schedule is unbelievable: After the duel with the star studded ZSKA Moscow on Friday evening which ended in a 93-79 loss, the Bavarians continue non-stop in both the BBL and the EuroLeague. On Saturday afternoon, a light training in the Audi Dome is followed by  a departure to Leipzig - where they will face the BC from Weißenfels has marketed it as a "big-time game". It starts on Sunday at 18:00. "Telekom Sport" and "FC Bayern.tv live" will broadcast as usual. With the return journey the preparation begins then for the next home game against a EuroLeague heavyweight, because only 48 hours after play ends in Leipzig (Tuesday, 20 November, 20:30) Olympiakos Piraeus visits the Audi Dome.

Greece's "basketball god" Spanoulis

The twelve-time Greek champion has already won the EuroLeague twice and was last in the final in 2017. This season, former NBA coach David Blatt (Cleveland), who triumphed last season with Darussafaka Istanbul agains Bayern in the EuroCup semifinals has continued his expected success with a good team. Olympiakos is currently under similar stress: While the Munich players in Leipzig also want to win their eighth BBL game at the MBC, Piraeus has to play in the top national derby against the equally undefeated archrival Panathinaikos Athens at the same time.

In the EuroLeague, Olympiakos, after an unfortunate 73-72 loss against Fenerbahce has a 3-4 record like Bayern. In front of 9,000 fans, the Greeks missed their chance to win on Thursday in the final second. Top scorer was Kostas Papanikolaou (18). Piraeus continues to be led by one of the national "basketball gods", Vassilis Spanoulis. The 36-year-old Guard will play his 300th EuroLeague game this season, in his 13th year the idol is currently "all time" with 13.4 points and 4.7 assists per game.

Four games in one week

The Bavarians must first solve their away task at the MBC. It is the first of four games within a week and the second of five within nine days. Weißenfels celebrated their first victory just one week ago - in the sixth attempt - with an 81-76 over Bremerhaven.
