
The schedule for the three-week Finals tournament 2020 of the German Basketball League has been finalized: The tournament will take place in the Munich Audi Dome starting on Saturday, June 6th and the championship game will take place on Sunday, June 28th, at 15:00..
The two opening games will be played by Group A, in which hosts Bayern will take part as the 2019/2020 season will continue on again with a duel between Goettingen and Crailsheim at 16:30 followed at 20:30 by FCBB versus their rival, Ulm.
There will be two games each day of the group phase (16:30 and 20:30). Each team has at least one day off after a game. This also applies to the play-off phase, in which each knockout duel is played in a best-of-two mode. The final two games will take place on the 26th and 28th of June (20:30).
All games will be broadcast live by MagentaSport. The Bayern games will also be shown live on the club channel FCBayern.tv. Sport1 which will broadcast other selected matchups of the 35 games. Further details will follow.
Bayern will also meet Crailsheim (8.6., 20:30), Goettingen (12.6., 16:30) and Oldenburg (14.6., 20:30) in group A which consists of 5 teams. Ludwigsburg, Berlin, Vechta, Bamberg and Frankfurt will play in Group B. The top four teams will advance to the play-off quarter finals, with crossover games (1st group A - 4th group B etc.).
