
The new Bundesliga season begins for FC Bayern Basketball on Monday, September 30th, at 20:30 with a home game against the Hamburg Towers. The first game will see the reunion with Marvin Ogunsipe, awarded to the Hanseatic League. On the fourth game day, Sunday, October 20th, (18:00) the Bavarians will visit Oldenburg - and there, too, the Munichers will meet an old acquaintance: Braydon Hobbs will be putting on his basketball shoes for the main round runner-up of the previous season. Lower Saxony will travel to the Bavarian capital on March 1st. Special feature of this BBL season: Due to the denied license for the Falcons Nuremberg, only 17 teams start the new season, which means that every game day one team has an off-day. The Bavarians will be affected for the first time on the 6th gameday, which will take place on the first weekend in November, and in the second half of the season on the 23rd gameday (13-15 March). Even before the start of the main round in the BBL, the Bavarians will meet Bonn in the cup quarter finals (28/29 September 2019).
Home game against finals opponent Berlin for the seventh gameday
The first duel with the opponent of the last two BBL final series, Alba Berlin, is already on the Bayern Basketball team's schedule on the 7th gameday. The runner-up will travel to the Bavarian capital on November 10th, tip-off scheduled for 15:00. The second game in Berlin's Halle at the Ostbahnhof will take place on May 2nd, the last gameday of the regular season. The first duel with the former series champion Bamberg will take place shortly before the turn of the year (December 30th, 20:30) in Upper Franconia. The second matchup at Munich's Westpark is scheduled for April 12th. The playoffs will begin on May 7th.
