The FCBB are in the US: Since Tuesday evening the Bavarians have been in Miami, Florida, the first stop of the "BayWa Basketball Tour 2019". After a trouble-free journey of about 15 hours, the tour bus of the German champions reached the Cadillac-Hotel directly at Miami Beach. The weather: humid and 30 (100) degrees, a mix of clouds and sun. At a welcome dinner on the terrace, Managing Director Marko Pesic was welcomed the FCB Board member for Internationalization and Strategy, Jörg Wacker, the crews from Rudi Vidal's US office in Bavaria (President Americas) and main sponsor BayWa's Head of Marketing Daniela Krupkat.
On Wednesday morning, the team completed a two-hour session at their training facility in Little River. At the end of their stay in Miami on Saturday, the FCBB will play an unofficial test game against a regional selection. Then they will travel on to Uruguay and its capital Montevideo, where the Munich team will take part in the "NBA G League International Challenge" (18 - 22 September). German national players Danilo Barthel, Maodo Lo and Paul Zipser will also join the team in Montevideo.
The games are expected to be streamed live and exclusively on the Facebook channel of MagentaSport (www.facebook.com/magentasport.de/).
