Bayern to take part in EuroLeague tournament in Valencia

The season preparation for the FCBB will start next week when the new head coach Andrea Trinchieri gathers the team for the first time in the Audi Dome. The fine-tuning for the entry into the 2020/2021 season will take place a month before the start of the EuroLeague seaso at a preparatory tournament in Valencia: The FCBB will take part in one of two events on the Spanish Mediterranean coast as part of the EuroLeague's "We're Back Preseason Tour".

The invitational tournament will take place on 15th and 16th of September in Valencia, where the other participants are set to be EuroLeague rivals Olympiakos Piraeus, Asvel Villeurbanne and hosts Valencia BC. On the first day, two semi-finals will be held, followed by the third place game and a final. The second tournament will take place in Kaunas on the 12th and 13th of September with Armani Milan, Panathinaikos Athens, Efes Istanbul and hosts Zalgiris. The respective pairings have not yet been decided.
