In the qualification round for the BBL Cup, the FC Bayern basketball team will meet the host MBC, Bayreuth and Crailsheim in Weissenfels October 17th/18th. This is the result of the group draw on Thursday. The Top Four of the MagentaSport BBL Cup will take place on November 1st and 2nd. In case of a semi-final, for which the group win is necessary, the FCBB would meet the winner of the southern group C which consists of Ulm, Bamberg, Ludwigsburg and Würzburg. The other two participants in the final tournament will be determined in the northern groups A and B. As always, MagentaSport will broadcast all games live.
Directly after the BBL Cup, on the first weekend of November (6 - 8 November), the new Bundesliga season will begin. As things stand at present, the FCBB's season start in the EuroLeague is scheduled for 2 October: The Munich team will meet the Italian top team Armani Milan to kickoff the season.
