The Top Four for the German Cup (1./2.11.), which was planned for the beginning of November in the Audi Dome, has to be postponed to a later date. This was announced by the BBL on Wednesday. This is because of the current Corona cases for Alba Berlin which forced their game against Braunschweig to be cancelled.
Since the Berlin district authority has ordered a domestic quarantine for the team and staff and Alba had to apply for several game reschedules, the original date for the Top Four cannot be kept. It is still open when the final tournament will take place.
FC Bayern Basketball wishes the Berlin players and staff all the best, good health and hopes that everyone will return to the court soon.
