FC Bayern Basketball requested the postponement of the Bundesliga home game against Frankfurt (Sunday, 15:00 Audi Dome) on Friday afternoon. The issue is the renewed positive cases on the Corona virus in the team in connection with several injuries. The Bavarians have had to report a total of nine positive cases to the BBL as of Friday afternoon, and three people from the support staff are also in quarantine. The lack of fit players had already led to the EuroLeague's postponement of the away game at Fenerbahce Istanbul scheduled for (Friday).
The BBL did not grant Munich's request to postpone the game this evening. FC Bayern Basketball will now clarify, in close consultation with its medical department, with which lineup the team will be able to compete until the presumed start of the game on Sunday afternoon.
