Andrea Trinchieri's 2021 annual review
94 competitive games in a calendar year, 55 wins, one title, premiere in the EuroLeague playoffs, the BBL finals - these are the facts and figures of Bayern Basketball for 2021. Head coach Andrea Trinchieri talks about his personal feelings on the team and much more in the new edition of OPEN COURT, the FC Bayern Basketball podcast.
The 53-year-old talks in the first part of the 22nd edition about Italian Christmas binge ("you eat from A to Z, just everything!"), why he feels "guilty" towards his family and especially his children, how Paul Zipser has transformed after his return to the gym ("his story is better than the best book") and why and how he recently apologized sincerely to youngster Jason George ("my mistake and I'll do everything to make sure it never happens again").
The second part with Andrea Trinchieri will be uploaded at the beginning of the year. OPEN COURT appears regularly on the Bayern Basketball website and is available on all popular platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcast, Amazon Music, Google Podcast and Deezer. The host is basketball expert and podcast host André "Dré" Voigt. The podcast is presented by BayWa AG.
